Cherielynn Santos Wagner, DO

Dr. Cherielynn Wagner, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed her family medicine residency at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City, IA, in 2016, receiving a Compassionate Care Award in 2015. Her accolades also include two Golden Heart Awards from MercyOne, exemplifying her dedication to compassionate care and mentorship. Dr. Wagner earned her medical degree from Touro University Nevada in 2013. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Iowa State University in 2001. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Wagner practiced as a family physician at MercyOne Regency Family Clinic, providing comprehensive care to all ages and underserved communities. As a peer reviewer for the Iowa Board of Medicine, she supported quality care through clinical case reviews. Her philosophy centers on treating each patient with the same dedication she would offer her own family. Dr. Wagner chose medicine to make a meaningful impact across generations. Passionate about healthy aging and equitable healthcare access, she is devoted to enhancing her patients' quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys her family, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
