Cassandra Thompson-Bailey, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C, a doctorally prepared, board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner, earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University in 2023. With a Master of Science in Nursing from South University and a BSN from Deaconess College of Nursing, she served as an adjunct professor at Seminole State College from 2016 to 2018 and was honored by the Center for Clinical Advancement Sages of Clinical Service in 2023. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Thompson-Bailey was a nurse practitioner with Wound Technology Network and UnitedHealth Group, alongside volunteer work with Shepherd's Hope. Prior roles include as a charge nurse RN at the Veterans Affairs Community Living Center in Orlando, Florida. She began her nursing career in the ER of New York Methodist in 2001. Passionate about diabetes, heart health, and exercise, Ms. Thompson-Bailey entered healthcare to positively impact people's lives. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, cherishing family moments, and listening to music.
