Dr. Brian C. Jobe joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. He has worked as a healthcare professional since 1995. Dr. Jobe earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health (LSUHSC) Shreveport and completed the LSUHSC New Orleans Family Medicine Program in Lafayette, Louisiana. Hes received the top faculty award at LSUHSC Shreveport Family Medicine Residency in Alexandria, the Magnolia Award Excellence in Teaching on three occasions. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Jobe served at HNI Healthcare, VAMC Pineville, Christus St. Frances Cabrini in Alexandria, LSUHSC Shreveport Family Medicine Residency in Alexandria, and Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He has practiced as a family physician, faculty member, wound care physician, occupational medicine doctor, clinic provider, hospitalist, physician advisor, and long-term care provider, all of which have informed his work with older adults. Dr. Jobe chose healthcare because he wanted an intellectual challenge that would improve peoples lives. He believes in customizing the care for his patients, allowing individuals to chart their own course and assist as needed, discussing goals, and then letting the patient provide feedback on how things are progressing toward achieving those goals. Spending a day with his wife makes him happy. A dad and grandfather, he enjoys quality time with his family as often as possible. He also enjoys reading science and history, learning about different cultures, going for walks, and inline skating.
