Brenda Sue Boyd, APRN, joined CenterWell as a board-certified adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner. Ms. Boyd earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, from Indiana University-Purdue University, where she was on the Dean's List, a GWEP Fellowship recipient, and a graduate student commencement speaker. She obtained her BSN magna cum laude from the same institution and a Bachelor's in Science from Butler University. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Boyd worked with Optum and UnitedHealth Group and, previously, the Franciscan Physician Network. She has a rich history with Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, holding diverse roles as an RN, including in the ICU and palliative care. Passionate about brain and heart health and obesity, she is a dedicated senior advocate. She prioritizes listening attentively to her patients to enhance their health and quality of life. Ms. Boyd chose healthcare because of a childhood fascination with the body and the environment. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, gathering with family and friends, and laughter.
