Dr. Bill Byrd joined CenterWell as a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. Dr. Byrd completed his family medicine residency at Indiana University in Bloomington. He earned his medical degree With Honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL, in 1980. Dr. Byrd's distinctions include recognition as the Martin Luther King Physician of the Year. With his many years seeing patients at CenterWell, Dr. Byrd wholly believes in the senior-centered approach that allows him to address the specific and unique needs of this exceptional segment of the population. Dr. Byrd emphasizes the importance of taking the time to listen to his patients and getting to know them so that he can truly get to the root of their health concerns. He defines a successful patient-physician relationship as one that is founded on trust and respect so that his patients feel they can count on him as their guide on their health journey. Dr. Byrd values the opportunity to work collaboratively with his patients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. Outside of the office, Dr. Byrd enjoys playing tennis and sharing meaningful experiences with his family.
