Ashley Wood, MD

Dr. Ashley Lynn Wood, MD, is a family medicine physician and medical director with extensive experience in primary care and a strong focus on healthy aging. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of Virginia. Dr. Wood completed her family medicine residency at Dartmouth–Hitchcock's NH Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in Concord, New Hampshire, where she was recognized as Chief Resident and Resident of the Year. She has practiced in community-based and integrated care settings, providing comprehensive primary care, preventive services, and leadership oversight while mentoring residents and leading quality improvement initiatives. Her philosophy centers on building respectful, trusting relationships through open communication, shared decision-making, and evidence-based care to maximize quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending meaningful time with her family.
