Armando Rodriguez-Asbun, MD

Dr. Armando Rodriguez-Asbun, M.D., is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with decades of experience in both clinical practice and medical education. He earned his Doctor of Medicine with Honors from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and completed his residency and internship at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Rodriguez-Asbun also pursued a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism. His career includes roles as Vice President of Internal Medicine at Mountain Park Health Center and staff physician at multiple practices, including East Valley Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine Physicians Associates. He has served as a preceptor for internal medicine rotations at Universidad de Guadalajara School of Medicine and has been a guest speaker for the American Diabetes Association, presenting on topics such as Type II Diabetes among Hispanics. Dr. Rodriguez-Asbun has received numerous honors, including the President's Award from the American Diabetes Association and Mexico's Best Students Award. Outside of medicine, he enjoys baking, collecting stamps, and traveling.
