Antonio T Uvas, MD

Dr. Antonio Timbreza Uvas, MD, is a Family Medicine physician who earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. He completed family medicine residency training in both the Philippines and New Jersey, serving as Chief Resident during his training. Dr. Uvas practiced family medicine in hospital, outpatient, urgent care and long-term care settings across Arizona, Tennessee and Michigan. His experience included serving as Medical Director for a skilled nursing facility, hospice organization and home care program, as well as caring for adult and geriatric patients in primary care and hospital environments. He also participated in leadership and committee roles within professional medical organizations. Guided by a philosophy of treating patients with the same time, dedication and commitment he would give those closest to him, Dr. Uvas is especially passionate about helping patients improve their health and managing diabetes. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors and listening to music.
