Annum Zulfiqar, MD

Annum Zulfiqar, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Zulfiqar earned her Medical Degree from Texas A&M University through DeTar Healthcare System in Victoria, TX, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan, where she received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Before joining CenterWell in 2024, Dr. Zulfiqar has worked in both primary care and clinical care settings. She most recently served as a Primary Care Physician at ChenMed in Dallas, TX, where she provided comprehensive primary care services for seniors. Dr. Zulfiqar believes that taking the time to listen to her patients is key to improving their quality of life and health and feels immense privilege to help better the lives of people of all ages. She particularly feels this when working with seniors, stating, “Working with seniors brings me immense joy and fulfillment as seeing their health improve makes me believe that I'm truly blessed to be doing what I am.” Outside of work, Dr. Zulfiqar enjoys traveling, listening to music, and enjoying the outdoors.
