Angela Nicole Jennings, APRN

Ms. Angela Nicole Jennings, DNP, APRN, AGNP-C, is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner dedicated to helping older adults maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has extensive experience caring for seniors across home-based primary care, long-term care, post-acute care, rehabilitation, and Veterans Health Administration settings. Throughout her career, Ms. Jennings managed medically complex older adults, coordinated interdisciplinary care, optimized chronic disease management, and supported transitions of care to improve patient outcomes. She also served as a nurse practitioner resident in geriatric and extended care and as a registered nurse caring for veterans with diverse medical and behavioral health needs. She is especially passionate about caregiving, healthy aging, exercise, and addressing loneliness and social connection among older adults. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
