Andrew Tang, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. At CenterWell, he currently serves as Associate Medical Director and leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2003 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2006. He completed his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2020. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas. Hes been recognized with numerous honors, including the Presidents Award for obtaining a 4.0 GPA as an undergraduate and a Biblical Studies Honor Award. He served as the Mu Delta Alpha Medical Dental Association President and was elected Alpha Chi National Honor Society Secretary. Following residency, Dr. Tang maintained a private practice from 2006 to 2017. He saw patients as a primary care physician with MCCI Medical Group from 2018 until joining CenterWell in 2022. He is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, and spending time with family.
