Dr. Amy Raz is a fellowship-trained, board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Raz successfully completed a fellowship in geriatrics following her internal medicine residency at NYU Langone, Winthrop Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Cornell University. Before Dr. Raz joined CenterWell, she saw patients with Nuvance Health, where she was part of an internal medicine hospitalist team since 2015. Before that, she worked with seniors as a staff physician in a short-term rehabilitation unit and nursing home from 2012 until 2015. In short, Dr. Raz has years of experience as an internal medicine physician caring for patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions. Achieving patient satisfaction, to Dr. Raz, means establishing goals of care and assessing areas for improvement while keeping expectations realistic. She has a patient-driven philosophy of care in line with quality medical care and patient goals. Dr. Raz is married with three children. In her time off, she enjoys bicycling and making new memories with her family.
