In 2002, he completed his residency in Family Medicine at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. With a wealth of knowledge in various medical subspecialties, including family practice, emergency medicine, and general practice, Dr. Pitalia has been affiliated with several hospitals, including William Jennings Bryan Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina, and Elgin Urgent Care, now MUSC Health. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Pitalia practiced with Doctors Care in South Carolina, and continues to practice at Three Rivers Behavioral Health LLC in West Columbia, South Carolina. He enjoys working with older adults and believes in treating patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment that he would invest in his family.
