Aminata Sesay Mbayo, APRN

Mrs. Aminata Sesay Mbayo, MSN, APRN, AGNP C, is an adult geriatric nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience across primary care, long term care, home health, and telehealth settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Mrs. Sesay Mbayo has dedicated much of her career to caring for seniors, managing complex acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, COPD, obesity, and behavioral health conditions. Her work has emphasized patient education, individualized care planning, chronic disease management, and supporting patients through transitions of care to improve quality of life and independence. Guided by a philosophy rooted in compassion and dignity, she embraces a culture of caring for people of all ages, with a deep commitment to safeguarding the well being of older adults. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, planning events, and spending meaningful time with her family.
