Amberneisha S. Flournoy, APRN

Amberneisha Flournoy, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2021. Her clinical training encompassed internal medicine, pediatrics, and women's health. Ms. Flournoy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2012. Her academic accolades include the Dean's List, the Page Memorial and Sullivan Nursing Scholarships, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing induction. She is a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Before joining us in 2024, Ms. Flournoy practiced at Coastal Urgent Care. She also performed in-home risk assessments with Signify Health, focusing on older adults and previously treated patients at Gastrointestinal Specialists. Her decade-long career as a registered nurse included emergency, operating room, and postpartum care at Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital. Passionate about diabetes and heart health, Ms. Flournoy embraced a healthcare career with a mission to empower seniors to make healthier choices, prioritizing wellness and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys family, music, and the outdoors.
