Amanda Thomas, APRN, is a board-certi?ed nurse practitioner. She earned her Master of Science, Adult Nurse Practitioner, from Hunter College in 2010 and her Bachelor of Science, Registered Nurse, from the University of Alabama in 1999. Before joining CenterWell in October 2024, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner for 13 years at various facilities, with her latest position being an Adult Nurse Practitioner at ChenMed in Charlotte, NC, where she provided comprehensive primary care services for seniors. Prior to her career as a Nurse Practitioner, she practiced as a Registered Nurse for over 11 years as staff and as a contract travel nurse. Throughout her healthcare career, she has practiced many specialties, making her well-rounded in her knowledge and skills. Ms. Thomas believes that healthcare should focus on wellness instead of sickness. She strives to take care of the whole person, and not just their diagnoses and encourages patients to share their health concerns and goals. She especially loves caring for her senior patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and two cats. She also likes cooking and attending live shows.
