Amanda Nicole Stanley, APRN, a board-certified adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner, completed her Post-Masters Certification at Maryville University in 2022, gaining 580 clinical hours across departments, including Cameron Regional Medical Center and the KU Internal Medicine Clinic. Ms. Stanley holds a Master of Science in Nursing Management/Leadership from Western Governors University and a BSN from MidAmerica Nazarene University. A multiple DAISY Award nominee, she has served as a clinical adjunct professor of nursing at St. Luke's College of Health Sciences. Before joining us in 2024, Ms. Stanley was an adult/geriatric nurse practitioner with KC Medical Care and Kansas City Geriatrics and, earlier, a clinical RN in neurology at the University of Kansas Health System. Passionate about brain health, exercise, and nutrition, she is a strong advocate for her patients. Her work with older adults, particularly those with neurological conditions, shapes her philosophy of respect, compassion, and tailored care. Ms. Stanley chose healthcare to improve the quality of life for seniors. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and making memories with her family.
