Amanda Romano, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University and BSN at Our Lady of the Lake College. She is also a certified critical care nurse by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (ACCN). Mrs. Romano provided primary care at Total Family Medical in Robert, LA, and served as a solo provider with Lake After Hours Urgent Care in Baton Rouge. With seven years of ICU experience as an RN, including roles at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and as a travel nurse with Loyal Source Government Services, she gained expertise in managing complex conditions and served on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guided by her care philosophy, “I will treat my patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment I would invest in those closest to me” she prioritizes patient-centered care. Passionate about heart health, diabetes, and the effects of loneliness, she empowers patients to lead healthier lives. Mrs. Romano chose healthcare to help people prioritize their well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
