Altagracia C Garza, APRN

Altagracia Garza, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. A healthcare professional since 2001 and fluent in English and Spanish, Ms. Garzas passions include heart health, brain health, and caregiving. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Loyola University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University, and her associate degree in nursing and Licensed Vocational Nursing degree from San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas. She became an invited member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing in 2006. Ms. Garza was a family nurse practitioner with Clinica Familiar in Pasadena, Texas. She previously was an ICU staff nurse at Kingwood Medical Center and held various roles, including trauma/surgical ICU nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor at Ben Taub General Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Ms. Garza chose healthcare out of a warm place in her heart for seniors and safeguarding their quality of life. In her free time, she cherishes creating memories with her family, listening to music, and exploring the outdoors.
