Adebukola Olutoyin Akintoye, MD

Dr. Adebukola O. Akintoye, M.D., joined CenterWell as a board eligible internal medicine specialist. She has worked as a healthcare professional since 1985. A graduate of the University of Lagos College of Medicine, she completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the State University of New York Medical-Dental Consortium. She has obtained a Distinction in Clinical Psychology, a nomination for Distinction in Microbiology, and was awarded the Winthrop Scholarship for a Deserving Female Student. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Akintoye was a contract physician with Locum Tenens companies in outpatient medicine, primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine since 2008. She practiced as a Contract Physician at Medlink, a federally qualified health center that cares for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients. Dr. Akintoye chose healthcare because it provides innumerable opportunities and the immense privilege to help better the lives of people of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys serving at her Church, spending time with family, and traveling.
