Maria M. Negron Alvarez, Staff Physician

Dr. María M. Negron Alvarez recently joined CenterWell Greer Center location, bringing over 7 years of experience as a board-certified Physician in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. She attended the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed her residency at Hospital Universitario Ramon Ruiz Arnau. Dr. Negron Alvarez’s passion for practicing medicine began very early on in her childhood and since then she’s made it her mission to give the best of herself to her patients to help them achieve their health goals. She believes that taking the time to listen to each one of her patient’s needs truly helps her choose the best treatment plan for them and allows her to develop a lasting relationship with them focused on mutual respect and trust. This is why she decided to join CenterWell, because she felt that their integral approach to senior-focused care and how they value establishing a strong doctor-patient partnerships are both important factors in a patient’s healthcare journey. Outside the office, Dr. Negron Alvarez enjoys spending time with her family.
