Capella University, MN, awarded hera Doctor of Nursing Practice & Organizational Leadership (Diabetes D-SMART Implementation). Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Agyemang practicedas an independent psychiatric and primary care provider. She previously cared for patientsas a charge nurse-RN-BSN at Houston Methodist Hospital Medical Centerin the critical and intensive care unitsand at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston, Texas, as acharge nurse-RN-BSN for the CCUandCardiovascular and Trauma Surgical ICU. As a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, I believe total healthcare involves both physical and psychological well-being, she said of her work with older adults.
